FIRST EDITION, first impression. Octavo (21 x 14cm), pp.255; [1]. Publisher's green cloth lettered in gilt to spine. Dust-jacket designed by Kenneth Farnhill, with printed price of 21s. net to front flap.

Lightly toned to edges, slight spotting to top edge, small ding to fore edge, plus a few page corners folded over. Cloth to spine faded at the very top, a couple of bumps to bottom of the boards. Dust-jacket little sunned to spine, some marks and light wear. An attractive copy. Very good.

Brilliantly sustained mystery is always to be found in a novel by Agatha Christie, but her latest story contains an extra element, and might equally well have been entitled By the Chilling of Your Spine.
