CHRISTIE, Agatha (1890-1976).

Cat Among the Pigeons.

London: Published for The Crime Club by Collins, 1959.

FIRST EDITION, first printing. Octavo (20 x 14cm), pp.255; [1]. Publisher's red cloth, titles in black to spine. Dust-jacket with printed price of 12s. 6d. net to front flap.

Internally clean, some toning and spotting to edges. Cloth shows well, a bit bumped o corners. Dust-jacket is bright, some tears to folds, now reinforced with archival tape to reverse, some mark to upper panel, text to spine a little toned, some chips to extremities. An attractive copy. Very good.

Meadowbank is one of the most exclusive girls' schools in England. Unthinkable that there should be a murder at Meadowbank. But a train of violence, starting in the Middle East and involving jewels, intrigue and secret agents, did in fact reach its deadly climax within the distinguished precincts of the school itself. Poirot investigates.
