Ownership inscription of R.S. Smith dated 1920 to flyleaf, some neat annotation to page 45. Textblock bright and clean with no spotting, some toning and spotting to endpapers, dustiness to top edge. Cloth shows well, some ring marks to upper, spine moderately faded with the gilt dulled as often found. Very good.

The first appearance in English of Einstein's groundbreaking work, translated from the third German edition of 1918.
