LIMITED FIRST EDITION. Octavo (18 x 14cm), pp.24. Publisher's card wraps, lettered in black to a paper title label to upper, sewn. One of just fifty copies printed by members of the 1960-1 bibliography class.
Lightly handled. Rare. Fine.
Taken from a manuscript exhibited as part of the Sidney Exhibition held in the Bodleian Library in 1954. The poem dates from around 1644, the unknown author uses Sidney's famous book for a covert attack upon the Puritans, and also upon the King's more luke-warm supporters.
