FIRST EDITION, first printing. Octavo (20 x 14cm), pp.254; [2] publisher’s advertisements. Publisher’s orange cloth, blocked in black. Striking dust-jacket with printed price of 8/d net. 

Faint crease to title and half-title, offsetting to endpapers, edges tone with some dustiness to top edge, else contents fine. Cloth lightly bumped to corners but bright and clean. Some light chipping to top and bottom edges of wrapper with some small tears, but bright and unfaded. Uncommon. Near fine.
