AUTOGRAPH LETTER SIGNED, plus a typed letter. Four pages in total (23 x 18cm). Two letters dated October and December 1924 from C. S. Forester to a Miss Beamish, one handwritten and signed the other typed and unsigned, both on 58 Underhill Road headed paper (his address between 1915 and 1929).

All pages folded twice, the second page of the ALS has unrelated notation in ink to reverse. Near fine.

Forester here responds to a correspondent who has written to him to discuss his recently published novel 'A Pawn among Kings'. The letters cover discussing film rights for novels, writing as a career and obtaining a literary agent.
