The Secret History of White-Hall, from the Restoration of Charles II. Down to the Abdication of the late K. James. Writ at the Request of a Noble Lord, and conveyed to him in Letters by ---- late Secretary-Interpreter to the Marquess of Louvois, who by that means had the perusal of all the Private Minutes between England and France for many Years. The Whole consisting of Secret Memoirs, which have hitherto lain conceal'd, as not being discoverable by any other Hand. Publish'd from the Original Papers.

FIRST EDITION. Octavo (18 x 13cm), pp.[16]; 80; 80; 80; 64; 80; 110. Twentieth century library binding of brown buckram, gilt titles to spine.
A generally clean copy with just the very occasional blemish within, trimmed quite closely to the head of the textblock although not affecting the text. Tears to margins with old paper repairs to pages; 45 (part 3), 21 (part 4), 9, 31 and 52 (part 5), 104 (part 6). Old paper repair to text to page 49 (part 5). Small tear without loss to page 39 (part 2). Library label to pastedown of the modern binding, no stamps or library marks to the book itself. Very good.
