FIRST EDITION, trade issue. Slim quarto (31 x 26cm), unpaginated [12]. Publisher's quarter cloth over paper covered boards, lettered in gilt to upper, grey endpapers. Ten plates mounted on card with captioned tissue guards. Contemporary copy of the poem published by Burns Oates and Washbourne housed in a pocket affixed the to the pastedown.

Gift inscriptions to both books, some toning, especially to tissue guards, small closed tear to flyleaf. Some wear to covers, lacking the dust-jacket. Very good.
