Pencil ownership to flyleaf. some light spotting and toning throughout, spotting and light wear to covers. Glassine wrapper toned and chipped to extremities. Scarce. Very good.
A collection of poems by G. H. Luce, in his youth a member of the Cambridge Apostles and within the orbit of the Bloomsbury Group. His circle of friends included E. M. Forster, John Maynard Keynes, to whom this book is dedicated, and Duncan Grant, who provided illustrations for the 1924 Hogarth Press reissue of this collection. Following university he worked as a scholar in Burma where he settled until 1964, his library was later acquired by the National Library of Australia.
