ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPHS. A collection of seven black and white photographs of Hugh MacDiarmid at a reception at the British Council Office in Bruntsfield Crescent, Edinburgh on the 21st March 1977. Each photograph 22 x 17cm, stamped "Photography by Capital Press" to reverse. Aside from MacDiarmid and his wife Valda, present are Dr. Macfarlane Gray, Professor Edwin Morgan, Ian Scottt-Kilvert and J. M. Dinwiddie.
