FIRST EDITION THUS. Octavo (24 x 16cm), pp.xxii; 201; [3]. Publisher's brown blind stamped cloth, titles printed to a paper label to spine, yellow coated endpapers.
Booksellers ticket, previous owners bookplate and stamp to pastedown, ownership inscription to title page. Generally clean within with just some slight occasional spotting, dustiness to edges. Split to rear gutter with the webbing showing. Boards bumped to corners worn to spine with the title label toned and chipped, tears to cloth, some loss to spine ends. Scarce. Very good.
An update to Robinson's 1741 study of the system of land tenure used in Kent from time immemorial until 1925.
