INSCRIBED FIRST EDITION. Octavo (19 x 13cm), pp.[4]; 52; [2]. Publisher's striking dark blue cloth binding with gilt lines to spine and upper, titles in gilt to spine. All edges gilt, blue endpapers. Inscribed to a Dr. Norman Sinclair to the half title page.

Toning to endpapers, slight bubbling to cloth. Fine.

A poem reviewing an imaginary occupation of Britain by France, the author references Chesney's The Battle of Dorking in his preface. Printed for private circulation, with few copies in institutional holdings and rare in commerce.
