Issued in eight monthly parts in publisher's yellow paper wraps printed in green with printed price of 6d monthly to upper. Six folding maps, ten chromolithographed plates and numerous in text woodcuts. Half title, title page and front matter bound at the rear of the final part.

Internally fine, some slight spotting to maps and plates. A little dustiness to edges. Covers lightly marked, some parts rubbed and chipped to spines. Uncommon in parts. Near fine.
