FIRST EDITION THUS. Octavo (21 x 15cm), pp.vi; 7-46[4]. Publisher's red cloth, gilt titles to spine and upper, yellow endpapers, all edges gilt. Binder's ticket to rear pastedown, booksellers blind stamp to flyleaf.

Bookplate to front pastedown, gift inscription to first blank. A number of pages loose from the gutta-percha binding. Cloth darkened to spine, lightly worn. Good.
