FIRST EDITION WITH DROPPED QUAD, first printing. Octavo (20 x 14cm), pp.255; [1]. Publisher's black cloth, gilt titles to spine, map endpapers. Dust-jacket with wraparound artwork by Tom Adams, with printed price of 21s. net. The rare variant issue with a dropped quad on the copyright page. 

Lightly toned to edges. Cloth lightly handled. Wrapper shows well, marginally toned to spine, splash mark to top of the spine and top right of rear panels, slight chipping to extremities. Very good.
