FIRST EDITION, first printing. Octavo (23 x 15cm), pp.263; [1]. Publisher's yellow cloth, blocked in silver to spine and upper, top edge stained blue. Dust-jacket featuring an illustration by I. Hawkins, with printed price of 18/' net to front flap. Illustrated.

Some spotting to binding, top edge stain a little faded. Dust-jacket toned more so to spine, with some abrasion, rubbed to extremities with some chipping and closed tears. Very good.
