FIRST FIVE ISSUES. Five volumes, octavo (21 x 13cm). Each magazine consisting of two leaves folded once and stapled providing a front cover followed by seven pages of text.

Some wear and toning throughout, rust stains along the spine of No.3. Uncommon. Very good.

The first five issues of the Chapman, monthly issues dated September 1970 through to January 1971. Initially launched as a poetry magazine, later the Chapman encompassed all aspects of literature from Scotland and further afield.
