ORIGINAL POSTER. Portrait format poster (77 x 51cm). Single sheet printed in red and black. Striking poster based on the iconic Roaring Lion photograph of Churchill taken by Yousuf Karsh in Ottawa in 1941. Portrait format poster that was also issued in a format half this size. Undated but 1965.

Poster has been folded twice with accompanying creases otherwise it appears unused with no significant wear or toning. Fine.

A striking poster issued to fundraise for the Churchill Memorial Appeal which helps funds Churchill Fellowships to this day. The appeal was promoted via posters such as this alongside flyers and newspaper advertisements.
